Selenium removal has become a pressing problem for Power Plants, Mine’s and General Industry Globally. Removing Selenium is unlike many other pollutants in that the different species (Selenium, Selenate, Selenite) & Organo Selenium compounds each require a different technical approach. Removal efficiency is highly dependent on influent quality, quantity, chemical composition, and temperature.
