Selenium removal has become a pressing problem for Power Plants, Mine’s and General Industry Globally. Removing Selenium is unlike many other pollutants in that the different species (Selenium, Selenate, Selenite) & Organo Selenium compounds each require a different technical approach. Removal efficiency is highly dependent on influent quality, quantity, chemical composition, and temperature. Using our patented “Suspended Reagent” approach,ZVI Blue™ ensures very high contact rates between the process water and the reducing surface. Our modular design can scale up or down for the process requirements and our cuboid media has been designed for maximum efficiency in operation and ease of changeout.
